A music shop with a difference..., is situated at 26-28 Church Street, in the town centre of Ballymena, and offers the services of music retail, tuition services in a range of instruments and styles and live music performances on Saturdays in "studio three" - a coffee area above the shop.
We stock a wide range of instruments and accessories including electric and acoustic guitars, amplifiers, effects pedals, recording equipment, drums and percussion, woodwind, brass and string orchestral and band instruments as well as a comprehensive range of accessories including straps, strings, leads, cases, roisin, reeds, spares etc.
A repair service for woodwind, string, and guitars is available with free estimates.
A range of pre-owned instruments are also in stock, which have been fully checked by our technician before sale.Tuition
We also offer 'one to one' and group lessons in a range of instruments in our equipped practice rooms. Using the A.B. Royal Schools of Music, Trinity, and the Rock School syllabus, we teach classical, jazz, rock and contempory music in saxophone, flute, violin, piano, electric and acoustic guitar, harp, and drums and percussion. A less formal tuition service is also available for blues, folk and rock guitar, jazz saxophone etc, some of which can be done in a workshop format.
Studio Three
Studio Three opens on Saturdays, serving fairtrade coffee and tea, soft drinks and refreshments, with live music performances. The informal setting is used as a platform for musicians and songwriters to perform, meet and can be a relaxing way to spend an afternoon. See the Services section for more details.
